Lisa Stillwell is a native of Grambling, Louisiana, and resides in the Houston area. She is an accomplished change agent, campus grant administrator, program director, and seasoned educator, has a passion for young people and believes her assignment is to encourage, inspire, and educate youth encouraging them to think big, have goals, be creative, and become productive, successful citizens in our global society. Having touched the lives of over 8,000 students, her experiences include that of a teacher/coordinator, supervisor, instructional lead teacher, speaker, student and teacher mentor, and an entrepreneur. She has a proven record of classroom instruction, recruiting, leadership, project management, job placement, networking, and business partnership development. She is the Founder/Executive Director of Celebrating You, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization which is designed to address the issues and challenges of youth including at risk and under served youth. The vision for Celebrating You, Inc. is dedicated to promoting leadership, entrepreneurship, character building, and employment skills.

Lisa is known throughout the Houston area school districts and the community for her tireless efforts and tenacity in securing business and community partnerships. Throughout her professional career, she has served in other capacities such as: spokesperson for the Mayor and City Council Member, Employment Interviewer, Instructor for an after school entrepreneurship program, and Youth Program Manager. Her affiliations include member of the Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation and Partner with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

 

Lisa is a magna cum laude graduate of Grambling State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.

She has received numerous awards and honors which include:

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys going to plays, singing, listening to music, and helping young people to be all they were created to be.
